Hey guys
,
(I knew it! Somebody had to around here.)
Well, I too thought about the old Triumphs.
Did anyone read the book, 'The Red Car' in their past? It was a paperback (1950's or 60's) which introduced many young drivers to the world of road rally racing. It had to do with a old TR-3 and having that 'first' sports car experience.
Do they even make Triumph motor cars anymore? They use to make motorcycles too. Great machines. Or, were they separate companies? Loved the TR-6. I got to drive one way back when. Or, was that a Fiat 2000 Spider? Been a few years. Did drive an X-19 and a 912 though. A dinky, mid-engine really zips.
I do prefer small (gutsy) cars over anything else.
My kind of 'space ship'.
(Often mistaken for 'ufos'.)
