Problem displaying forum titles
« on: May 31, 2005, 09:40:22 AM »
Kel,

I've got a wierd problem with the way the forum titles appear on my screen.  It is as if some sort of black bar is partially obscuring the text.  Here is a screen shot showing the problem:

The bottom title always appears okay, but those stacked above it are always partially obscured.  I've just started noticing this late last week.  I also just happened to get a new computer, so it may related to that, but I can't make that corrolation for sure.  The new computer is a PC running Windows XP and using Internet Explorer.

I'm having this too, but have the same old machine/system.
Looks to me like the lowest title, "Space Science & Tech", is supposed to be displayed first, then "Science & Tech" on top, etc. but they are getting displayed in reverse order.
What me worry?

Same problem here too. Still using the same machine. This may be widespread.

Did it just start happening, or has it always been like that? I haven't made any changes to the forum lately. I didn't notice it because I am using Firefox.

I'll take a look at the code, I think I might have an idea why it's happening but I'm not 100% sure yet.

Thanks for pointing this out to me, I'm pretty sure I will be able to fix it.

Actually... I just noticed it is happening in Firefox too, although it's not quite as bad (the titles don't overlap as much).

It hasn't always been this way.  I don't know for sure when I started noticing it, but I think it was the end of last week.
