I went to see "Ocean's 11" today. It wasn't my first choice (I was going to see "Beautiful Mind" but it wasn't playing at that theater) and to be honest I had little interest in seeing this movie (I was going to wait for the DVD) but I'm really glad I saw it now.
I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but the story is about a group of eleven (duh) men who plan to rob a casino in Las Vegas. It's a remake of a Frank Sinatra movie from the 1960's. I don't know how it compares to the original movie because I haven't seen it... but I plan to rent it tomorrow.
The cast is made up of mostly big name Hollywood stars such as George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, and Matt Damon. How they managed to pay the salaries for all those stars I will never know. I think they must have robbed a Casino for real.
Anyhow, it's a good movie. Just when you think you have it all figured out they throw in a few surprises.
