You're the first person I've seen online at the same time as me... I was beginning to wonder if the "Who's Online?" feature was working.

I'm thinking about using avatars that are related to the theme of my forum. So pictures of astronauts in space suits (in orbit or on the moon), pictures of spacecraft, pictures of the planets, etc. Maybe I will also add pictures of sci-fi movie characters.

I've added a few avatars and more are coming.

I have also turned on the ability for users to upload their own avatars.
