Thanks for thinking of me!  Yes, my family and I (wife, kids, pets) all stayed dry and with power.  By last Tuesday I was able to find a road route from home to JSC and worked some shifts to allow others who had been in the building all weekend to get some rest.  Spent the weekend helping others, that weren't as fortunate as we were, dig out from their flooded homes.  JSC reopened today.

Now let's hope that Hurricane Irma avoids the Gulf Coast, Florida directly, AND the East Coast!

I hope Irma loses power or veers away.

I'm sitting in MCC tonight as Irma starts to come ashore in Florida.  At this point I think we just have to pray that all the right people evacuated and that the loss of life and property is kept to as minimal an extent as possible.
