I hope so- if work does not get in the way.
Think I'm just going to shoot digital, concentrate on operating only one camera for a change- so I'll post what I get that night.

Weather has been great, forecast to hold through the week; and so far there seem to be no glitches at the pad.

One of my favorite rockets.  What is the payload?

NRO spybird

"NROL-32"...... expert guesses have it as an "ELINT" sat headed to GSO

probably yet one more thing watching the Middle East. :)

Launch now pushed to Friday (1806 local) due to ground pyro troubles.  :(

....and then, of course, it was pushed to Sunday due to tank temperature troubles.
Had it gone Thursday or Friday, it would have been perfect- cloudless moonlit nights.  Tonight- it was misting rain from the viewing point, and it launched into a thick cloud ceiling at about 1,000 feet.
So.... there was a big flash at liftoff and it disappeared in about four seconds.  The NRO guys must have loved it!  8)
But- not a picturesque launch.  The one pic I got isn't worth posting.
It made great noise!
