Saw this on a NASA blog today. I wasn't sure if there was an appropriate topic already existing for this sort of info, so feel free to move it if needed.
The
Apollo Lunar Surface Journal (ALSJ) is an online record of the lunar surface operations conducted by the six pairs of astronauts who landed on the Moon from 1969 through 1972, and is available to the general public.
The ALSJ site includes mission transcripts, as well as crew information, lunar sample catalogs, commentary from the Apollo astronauts, and more. Other related resources available are: the
Apollo Flight Journal, which includes spacecraft design information; "
Working on the Moon", which includes lessons learned about living and working in the lunar environment; an
Apollo Image Gallery; and an
Apollo Bibliography, which includes related websites and other print information of interest related to the Apollo missions. The ALSJ site is also available in French and German.
Looking for more in-depth or related info? Love the site but not quite sure how to start searching for the info you need? Please feel free to contact the
Glenn Science & Engineering Library for additional assistance.
