Apollo 18: The Moon Missions

Found this interesting-looking PC game whilst wandering around the net:

Interesting, but amazon.com are asking a steep price for a copy! Do you know where else I can buy it?

I own it--it's pretty nice as Apollo spacecraft simulators go--you have to push all the buttons according to procedure and such. However, it may not run even with DOSBOX--I remember that my Win95 machine was "too advanced" to run it and I had to force it into 640x480 256 color mode.

I have this great game complete with original box and manual - only trouble is - I cannot get the videos  to work with windows vista - something to do with the motionpixels
If anyone has any ideas be greatful

This program does NOT like 32 or 64 bit versions of Windows. Your best bet is to try to run it under DOSBOX or some other DOS/Win95 emulator.

tried that but it will not run - just need something that will run the avi`s in vista

Apollo 18 is available here on Abondonia, as well as the similar game Shuttle. Since both are still available, either the copyrights aren't held by anyone or the copyright holders don't care.

Ha! I just realized that the "Apollo 18" in the OP and the "Apollo 18" I linked to are two completely different games!

Yep - says this erro-mpixels will not run under NT !!!

NT? Then any Windows version newer than ME won't handle it.
