Dragons, Myth or Legend
« on: February 06, 2007, 10:54:16 AM »
What makes a Dragon fly, Their wings don't seem to be large enough?

Do you think they might of came from Mars the Moon or by some lone asteroid?

Or will we one day unearth something far more autonomous?
The unknown future awaits!
Lets work on the impossible!

Dragons appear to be descendants of pterosaurs that survived the extinction of their earthbound cousins the dinosaurs. Quetzalcoatlus, the largest known species of these, had a wingspan of twelve meters and was presumably able to fly despite this large size.

There was a Documentary on the Science channel, Dragons would eat
sulfur rocks that would fill a second digestion sack with hydrogen.
This reaction would give them lift and of coarse breath of fire!
At least from what I remember!

Legends of 'dragons' i.m.o. come from the perception of reptilian humanoids in Medieval history, the so-called Draconians. Only now are we catching up to the reality that these people exist, and are spread over the planet.

Mythology about Draconians is well put into a more realistic perspective in this Wikipedia article.
