BARIS CD Version - HELP

I have a CD version of BARIS and using Windows XP!
I have read ALL the tips for running this game in XP and just keep going round in circles!!!
I have used d-fens and dosbox and every version written in this forum and the main Baris home page and STILL keep gettong errors and the game not loading.
I have absolutely no problems running the floppy version at all
PLEASE could some kind person give me a simple word for word how to play this usig d-fend v2
I have the game installed in C and BARIS with BUZZ as the exe
I was unable to install it from the cd as it would not open so had to download the cd startup version from the BARIS page at geocities site.
Any help greatfully acknowledged

I also have Aim Software`s APOLLO 18 The Moon Missions on CD and will need help to get that running under WINXP - but more of that later

Did you check my command lines in the previous section?  I couldn't install until I set that CD command line

what errors are you getting?

I go through all the procedures as in your guide - then when I run it usinf D-Fend I keep getting :-Illegal command : BARIS.EXE

i didn't write a guide 
I just gave 2 command lines, and I didn't use d-fend

I run CD version on XP.  Everything works except the videos, but oh well.  I use only DOSBox as configured by many previous entries as to appropriate command lines.  Make sure BARIS is loaded into the CDrive folder. Use BUZZ.BAT as the execute command. See if that helps get rid of the error messages.
